Jesse Miller began working with the Children's Board Heart Gallery as a volunteer photographer in 2002 and for the past three years has served as Director. With a background in the arts and working with at-risk youth populations, Jesse is a published photographer and aspires to create more navigable systems for adoptive families while increasing direct services that improve the quality of life for kids in care. Jesse served as an officer on the inaugural boards of both the Heart Gallery of America and Heart Gallery of Florida, a collaboration of Florida Heart Galleries that she organized and facilitated.
Following a marketing career of over 25 years, Melissa began working for the Children's Board Heart Gallery in 2005 and currently serves as Program Manager. She feels fortunate to have met a young lady over 11 years ago for whom she became a mentor and advocate and witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by young people in the foster care system. She is a trained Guardian ad Litem and while currently inactive, looks forward to actively participating in the near future.
