The main Heart Gallery display is made up of 12-20 interlocking panels that, mounted, are 3 feet (39") wide each and 6 (77") feet tall. Each panel (39.4" x 58") has 2 photos and most have one sound stick for select children's audio recording. Approximately half of the children are recorded.
Photos are only on one side of the display which provides flexibility in configuring the exhibit against walls as well as back to back and diamond shapes. Audio boxes for the sound sticks are on the back of the panel.
There are also 2 didactic panels (describing the exhibit and recognizing the sponsors). Inquiry cards can be left in the acrylic box adjacent to the panels.
The exhibit needs to be placed in an area of adequate lighting with access to electricity. The Heart Gallery curator will map out the exhibit for each venue's approval. The gallery can be broken up into smaller groupings and exhibited in different areas of the same venue or split between 2 venues. The exhibit run is generally 4-6 weeks at each venue.
